Running on less than 4 hours of sleep, I join Drew and Karin to Montreux on the eastern side of Lac Leman opposite of Geneve where we train a cog-wheel to Les Rochers de Naye, where we take a short but steep hike in the snow to the summit. This is Day 1 of a business/personal trip to Swizterland.

La Mezquita - Cordoba, Espana

Dmitry, Angelika, Nick in Barcelona
After graduating from Rutgers for undergrad, I joined three of my friends of 4 years on a 2 week backpacking trip to Spain. We focused on the Moorish Coast, starting from Barcelona and ending in Seville. Our route included Pamplona (during the running of the bulls), Barcelona, Malaga, Cordoba, Granada, Sevilla. We parted ways in Sevilla; they would continue on to Portugal while I would end in Madrid.
Back in the day, I would carry around a Minolta film SLR and an enormous ziplock bag full of B&W film rolls.

Basilica di Santa Maria della Salute
Real black-and-white photos from back in the day when I used Fuji ISO 400 B&W film and my Minolta SLR. In retrospect, I was just using the thing like a point-and-shoot camera. Disgusting. Anyway, enjoy Venice!
